I used to think Joss Whedon had some promise, when I started watching his Buffy the Vampire Slayer show, but he even ruined that before the series finale. Like most other directors who take on Marvel films, he completely defecated on Hawkeye, not only robbing him of his identifying mask, but turning him into a modern version of Robin Hood. Whats really pathetic is that Joss had no problem giving the other Avengers costumes, but yet...somehow saw fit to make Hawkeye look like an average joe with a bow.
