I used to think network marketing was silly. I didnt believe it was a a truly viable way to earn a living and I never saw myself doing it. After all, I was going to get my masters degree in psychology to pursue my dream job so I could help people like I always imagined... Well, I went to school for a lot of years and got my degree. Once I graduated, I got that job I had always dreamed of as a clinical psychologist. But as the excitement of it wore off and reality set in, my dream job was really more of a nightmare. I was working with people who didnt want my help...people who were sent to me by court orders. I was working long days and was often on call getting called into work in the middle of the night, sometimes at 2 or 3 in the morning when I was scheduled to work the next morning. I was drowning in paperwork and office politics. I felt STUCK in a job I thought I would love. I wasnt helping people the way I wanted to and I needed to change something. Fast forward a couple years.. I was approached by a friend from church about a new business she was building. It was new to the area and not many people were involved yet. She said she was selling body wraps and she thought it could be BIG. I was skeptical to say the least... But, I trusted her and knew she wasnt just doing it for the money... I could tell she really believed in it and believed she could help people. My husband said we should give it a shot too. We were both feeling stuck in our 9-5 jobs and were open to something new in our lives, especially if it could help us earn an extra $500 or so a month for a rainy day fund. We both had good jobs, but we loved the idea of giving ourselves a little fun money. Fast forward a few more years... I dont know whose life Im living, but Im not giving it back!! I am FINALLY helping people the way I envisioned and my husband and I finally have FREEDOM!! Freedom to stay at home with our kids and work when we feel like it. Freedom to take a sick day whenever we need to. Freedom to travel wherever we want without worrying about every penny. Freedom to build memories with our families without checking in with a boss first. Freedom to live in the home weve always dreamt of. Freedom for our kids to go to any college they want. Freedom to work with whoever we want and have the most fun weve ever had. Freedom to live life on OUR terms!!
