I used to think that I couldnt do it on my own... That I needed you. I was scared to be a single mom, because the thought of raising a child alone was unbearable. But I have proved to myself that I can, and am now a better mother than ever before. So, thank you for leaving our daughter and me with nothing but our clothes. I now realize all of the things you took from us were just material things that can be replaced. Thank you for leaving us with no where to go, because I now realize family is your strongest foundation. Thank you for treating me like dirt since we have been apart and while we were together, for cheating on me and verbally abusing me day after day. You have opened my eyes to see that I have always deserved better; and now I know what behavior Ill never allow. Thank you for turning my life upside down, because I have now built a happier life with just me and Gracie. Lastly, thank you for giving up on your family and me because you gave me the strength to stand on my own two feet and expect nothing from others. For showing me That I deserve someone who will never walk away for their own selfish desires. You gave me the courage to never back down, and a chance to see how independent and strong I truly am! So really...Thank you!
