I usually dont respond to what takes place in the political realm. But, after yesterday, I cant help but respond. Senator Diane Feinstein led the way to release a report that throws a lot of people under the bus who have worked to keep our great country safe. Not only does it throw people under the bus, but it also puts many lives in danger. We cant spend needed money to help our veterans who need medical help and yet, we can spend forty million dollars on a 6,000 page report that puts lives in danger and helps to stir up even more hatred towards the country that I love. After I watched the twin towers fall on live TV and know that 3,000 innocent American lives were taken by a heartless group of muslim religious fanatics, I was shocked and angered. I wanted to see those people punished and stopped from ever hurting our great nation again. There is no other country in th world that does more to help in times of disaster than the USA. Whether it be earthquakes, tsunamis or plagues, America will spend millions of dollars and have thousands of volunteers go to helop those people who have been affected. And yet on the day the towers fell, people danced in the streets with glee over our tragedy. But, if those same people experienced tragedy we would still be there to help them. I am not a republican nor democrat. I am a conservative. I am outraged over what Feinstein did. I am outraged that she apologized along with the president of the USA for what was done to protect our country. And yet, I have never heard them ut forth the same effort to condemn innocent people being beheaded in those countries that hate us. If it would protect our citizens from harm by water boarding (not killing; not beheading) KNOWN terrorists, I would provide the water and the board and never apologize for it. The people who need to apologize are the stupid people who continue to vote for people like Feinstein!
