I usually dont vent here on Facebook.....but this thing has been eating me up for the last couple of weeks.... I havent been able to sleep and Im physically ill that someone in Rescue could do something horrific like this to a living breathing creature.... This person has been fostering a Rottie girl for a legit rescue the dogs name was Sheba. Shebas owner died and his wife had to move and couldnt care for Sheba no more. Person offered to foster Sheba for The rescue. This persons own dogs and Sheba did not get along so she had to keep them separated. Well one day Persons dogs got loose and they attacked Sheba very badly. She had puncture wounds on her legs, neck, stomach to name a few. Person and her roommate broke up the fight, Person herself got bit in the process. She went to the ER to take care of her wounds!!!!!! BUT she never cared to take Sheba to the vet or tell anyone about the incident NOT even the rescue. She kept quiet and poor Sheba suffered, this happened on a Monday. Sheba had puncture wounds, her stomach was cut open..NO VET CARE!!!! Person waited a whole week and then took Sheba to the vet. Sheba had stopped eating long time ago and couldnt walk :( When Person a week later takes Sheba to the vet she LIES says Sheba injured herself in her yard. The vet tech follows Person to her car to help her get Sheba out of her crate. Horrified about what she sees and tells Person this dog was attacked!!!!!! Person keeps lying. They bring Sheba inside to the vet there she dies 5 min later. Poor Sheba suffered a whole week with no meds nothing. How could Person watch that horror and live with it??? The vet said the stank from the crate was so bad they never seen anything like this or smelt anything like this before. If Person would had done the right thing and brought Sheba to the vet right away or the next day Sheba would had still been here. Im shocked and sick to my stomach that someone who rescues and calls them a animal advocate would let this poor dog suffer for a week before taking her to the vet!!!!! Sheba was bleeding the whole time!!!! Sheba was laying in her own blood and suffered a slow painful death while this person was watching and NOT doing ANYTHING. Person didnt say sorry or show any remorse to the rescue! The ONLY worry she had is that they will report her or her dogs would be taken away from her.
