I usually never post anything negative on Facebook, however, I must acknowledge my observation from the 2014 Sr Prom at the Civic Center. First off, everyone looked amazing. I love the way friends and family were cheering, not just their love ones but others they did not know. Secondly, everyone was acting very appropriate and really came together without any problems. Lastly, the police acted so ignorant that I was so embarrassed by their behavior. They were ranting and raving by screaming at the parents, family and friends of the Seniors to tell them to move off the premise by being aggressive in their tone and hollering and screaming and even threaten to pepper spray them. Really....FCPD!parents that worked hard to prepare their children for this night had to be insulted by law enforcement. Police Officer are to protect and serve and show support to their town, while making good observation of their surroundings. Forrest City going to have to do better!! I did not have a child that was at the prom and felt sorry for the parents that were shown no respect!! Have a blessed day!!!
