I usually write my updates in one go and in about flat 15 to 20 minutes with no time for revision, sentence restructuring or correcting grammatical errors. The reason for doing this is practical. I am always scared that in this city notorious for powercuts, I might lose what I wrote halfway because of a cut; or that my cook will choose precisely that moment to ask me if he should make bhindi or karela for lunch; or the gardner will come and complain about the broken hose pipe or the dhobi comes to pick up the laundry, or............My son, who is a writer himself, (although he is into more scholarly and serious writing) is here thease days. He suggested that I write on word, take my time to edit what I wrote, and then paste it in fb. Somehow that felt like watching the repeat of a world cup game- you know the end result in advance. So I have decided to continue the way I do it. I feel a little bit of imperfection and incompleteness is not bad. Perfection is so boring :) .....Pasand apni apni, khayal apna apna, right?
