I vaguely remember one expression; the hunter will always be the victor until the lion can tell its own tale for the past few months Ive been jumping from one page to another both on the internet and hardcopy books, schooling myself on pre-colonial Afrikan history and civilization. It has all come down to the resolve carried by the above mentioned expression, Afrikan history and civilization thereof has largely been documented by colonizers of Afrika owing to our oral history traditions. The problem with the history today admitted as authoritative and imposed upon us is, if a colonizer only came here after an estimated 2million existence span of the afrikan peoples, what then gives that person authority to say what was what having only been here less than 300 years? A quote I read once there is no reality in this world, there are only perspectives So if a colonizer says I came to South Afrika through the Cape, how does he then want to tell us what he found in the Cape was consistant through out the country, South Afrika has a large land area. You found Khoisans in the Cape, that granted but that says nothing about who occupied the rest of the land and at what time. It only means the 1st people you came into contact with are the khoi. History throughout the existence on man has been bleached up I tell you. And used to serve political, religious, economical agendas.
