I visited the VA clinic in Lafayette today...and it absolutely confirmed we need a new one. It’s far too cramped and not suitable for the veterans in the area. Unfortunately, more and more we see veterans return home with PTSD, and we need to provide them with adequate care in a quality mental health unit. I can tell you right now this means a much, much larger facility here in Lafayette. I’ll keep fighting to pass my legislation to get this done, and keep fighting to hold the VA accountable to our veterans.
