I voted “yes” on H.R. 10 – the Success and Opportunity Through Charter School Act. I believe this bill improves the education system and education opportunities for all Americans, especially for those forced into failing districts. No family should have to be forced into a low-performing school simply because of the zip code in which they reside. Members of Congress and the President have the choice to send their children to any school they choose, and so should families throughout our country. The bill passed 360-45.
