I wanna give you a promise ring. A ring that will symbolize how much I love you. And during those times that I’m not with you, I still want you to feel my presence because you’re wearing it. And every time people see this ring on your finger, i want them to know that its you whom I want to share my life with someday. A ring that will make you feel that my love for you is real and that I’m not just playing around. I want you to wear it always and treasure it the way you treasure my heart. And I’ll be confident to say that you’re mine because the moment you allow me to put this ring on you is the signal that I’ve been waiting for telling me that you’re ready to accept me as your half. Sounds a little possessive but its kind of rare for me to give someone a promise ring, and the fact that i gave you one only means one thing, you’re the most special of them all. And when the time comes that we’re already old enough to settle down and get married, I’ll replace this promise ring with a real wedding ring. and that’s the time when I’ll be the happiest man on Earth knowing that I fulfilled the promises I said to you back then. The promises that I uttered to you the time that I gave you this ring. It is not the ring that is important. Its the promises nested on it.
