I want to apologize to everybody for being as withdrawn and distant as Ive been throughout the year. I have been working through personal issues, a car accident (everyone was okay), and feelings of uncertainty concerning my professional aspirations. In spite of all of the self doubt Ive faced this year, the last few weeks have shown me that I have so many reasons to be thankful. Time and time again, my friends and family have found a way to pick me up during my lowest points of the past months. Because of them, over the last few days Ive finally been able to look in the mirror and be content with the person Im striving to be. The sun is rising on this year, and Im ready to seize the day again.
