I want to ask people to boycott Russian Winter Olympics 2014. Since Russia decided to be backward and antagonistic and set itself on the path of radicalization. They have allowed to pass laws that legalized severe human rights violations. Laws that contradicting reason and undermining stability of society. Thanks to Russian circus style puppeteer-pseudo-democracy and complete absence of free press, populous is completely oblivious to the fact that their own country is rapidly becoming intolerant, radical and backward society with little to none friends and murky future. Boycotting Olympics might send them a message that people do not want to visit country that in intolerant, hostile and unpredictable. Sochi Olympics spent over $50 BILLION which makes it the most expensive Olympics ever. So I’d say let them have it all for themselves. I still think that Olympians should participate in the competition, since it’s their only chance to compete in the next four years, but visitors should stay home. Protest human right violations in Russia by not giving them your money and support. Stay home and watch TV.
