I want to congratulate my opponent John Wiemann on winning the 103rd District. John is a wonderful person, a great husband, and father of 2 wonderful boys. I know John coaches the Fort Zumwalt South Football team and he has personally told me things are starting to turn around. John took one “parting shot” at me (but it wasnt direct nor intentional) when he said the “football field was for the football team and not the band.” I use to be a member of the marching band (but I don’t think I told John that). We both got a kick out of that comment and it’s wonderful humor like that I find fitting to close out this primary season. It’s been an honor and a privilege to campaign in this race against a wonderful person like John Wiemann. I had a wonderful time standing at the polling place with John. Coincidentally his mother was standing there at the same time as my mom. I think my mom said to me she offered her some candy. I wished we had taken a photo of both of them together. I want to thank Alex McArthy for running in this race too. It’s been a pleasure and a honor to run against you as well and I hope you continue the fight for liberty and freedom. I want to thank my family and volunteers for all your support. I couldnt have done this without you. This has been a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to do it again someday.
