I want to encourage those out there who struggle with jealousy! It amazes me the work that the Lord has done in my life over the past three years. While I do love Christmas and watching my childrens faces light up, I always dreaded getting on Facebook on Christmas night because I would see all the nice things that the rich folks would be giving their kids. I wanted that! I wanted to give my kids the world but it was hard to do that on a budget! Lol! I literally would feel ill seeing people getting new vehicles because I have always dreamed of having my own(as we share a vehicle) I wanted that freedom to be able to put my kids in a car and be able to go and have fun at the drop of a hat. It was not until 2011 when God literally pulled me out of a severe depression that I started seeing things in a different way: Gods way. When I see people post pictures like that now, they inspire me. Instead of jealousy, I feel joy for those people. Instead of resentment, I feel happiness! The only person who can change your attitude about anything is you. But you have to want to change and that change can only come from God. We are not here long on this earth. We are just passing thru and visiting . God is our tour guide. And one day He will take us by the hand and guide us home
