I want to explain the Baal and Asherah grove worship which is in every pagan worship in the world. look at the map, and noticed I drew out the ridge lines and the waterway. the region of water is called THE RIVER OF LIFE which gives water to the land, animals, and people. the source of that water came from HILLS baals and the larger MOUNTAIN Baal. hence a type of Lord of lords or Mountain of all hills. as noted in map picture as the red stars and the green stars. the Stone (baal) mountain gave a spring source from a high point of water that seem like magic to them, where does the water come from? so they thought the god of this mountain lived inside, that is why all the shrines and temples sat on mountains. they were meeting the god of that local region. but the big mountain as in Mt. Hermon where devil mad a pact with other angels to rebel from God in book of Enoch, is the tallest mountain of the all, as a king (largest mountain in all regions.) of all the kings (little mountain peaks of each region) so Mt. Hermon seem like the source of all life in Israel hence the birth of the Jordon rich valley. this is their mindset. so they would plant a tree near the spring because trees are reaching to heaven and these groves where thought to have magic power to commune with these gods. hence the palm grove columns in big churches is called the grove, the altar the mountain or hill, and the spring of Mikvah baptism in front of most churches. its baal worship at its best. they killed to the gods on stone, so stones mean sacrifice and wood means life so a cross asherah pole or tree was placed near the stone as a communication source. ever region had a main tree called a sacred tree where it would give wisdom as in the Disney movie mother willow in Pocohanis. if you needed an answer like where to hunt you would go to this tree to ask. since most animals feed under these OAKS, or DATE PALMS which the Asherah symbol including the Druid of the oak worship in Bible. the acorn oak gave all the needs for life like a date palm and was called A TREE OF LIFE, as in food, meds, shelyters, fuel, woods, etc. every region had a king bird or mammal that gave food and clothing etc. so that is where LAMB of GOD comes from. but pagans used there own special animal as the cow was consider the giver of life since it gave almost everything on needed, hence golden sun calf, a messiah to them. It is YHVH which gives us all these things not a spring a mountain or a main tree or animals. that is the fight that is going on. the Groves in the river valleys is why orchard where there by that River of Life. can you see the verses coming out frm the bible now. So the sea is the Great Abyss and consider the hell for demons, the salt locking the spirit s in the depth dark weird cool world. the locust army comes from the abyss in Revelation as well as the Beast from the sea, in otherwords all of the demons unleasehed to destroy mankind coming from Tartarus. deserts are void of water so demons cast in a waterless place has no home, so must foced to live in snakes and scorpins, not by choice, they rather be in warm fuzzy you. so that is why they are there haunting looking for water place to dwell. so if you enter the desert you will be tested. I hope this makes sense, every religion under pagan worship does this and most churches are set up like this. Pymarids, mounds, ziggurats, etc are just man made mountains so the local people that are leaders can be that baal of that land.
