I want to give a short testimony about my brother Roland and the power/will of God. As you pretty much know Roland had triple bypass today. His progress now is exactly where he should be for the time frame. But I want to start at the beginning of this journey with Roland. He went to the emergency room on December 23 with chest pains. He experienced some pain during the day and thought he needed to be checked. He was admitted that night and had a stress test the next morning. There were some abnormalities but he was released to go home for Christmas if he promised to take it easy, which he did. A Catherization was scheduled for this past Tuesday. The family received very disturbing news that Roland had 3 major blockages. This was a shock to him and his family as he was told he needed triple bypass. This surgery happened today. My point is......Roland had only a few pains prior to going to the emergency room and he was feeling tired. They found some abnormalities and scheduled the Catherization and found the blockages. We found out the pains Roland was having was not from his heart and was not related to the blockages. Actually, may have been from him going to the gym. What I am saying is Roland had NO symptoms of heart problems. After knowing and witnessing what transpired with Roland no one can deny the work of God in his life. Had he not gone to the emergency room for what was maybe a pulled muscle he would not have known about the blockages, which again was major, and most likely he would have had a major heart attack at some point. I believe with all my heart this was Gods intervention in my brothers life. So if you dont believe in the power of Gods works in your life this is a good example. My brother is one of the finest men I know and a devote Christian. There is definitely more work for him to do on this earth. By the way, our grandfather had a heart attack and died instantly, our dad passed away from cardiac arrest. Do you see, God isnt finished with him yet!! Just wanted to share this.....
