I want to give you a look at whats inside the Creative Sermon - TopicsExpress

I want to give you a look at whats inside the Creative Sermon Notes book. It includes 6 different methods of note-taking. One of my favorites is Rhema Writings. Rhema is a Greek word used 70 times in the New Testament. It is defined as: that which has been uttered by the living voice; thing spoken; word; utterance; sayings. My favorite use of rhema in the NT is found in Luke 2:19 and again in verse 51 in reference to Mary, the mother of Jesus: But Mary treasured up all these things (rhema) and pondered them in her heart. The purpose of Rhema Writings is to write simple thoughts, quotes, Scripture references, or phrases of truth that are strongly and personally impressed on your heart. Notes with Rhema Writings are meant to be brief and memorable, keeping notes limited only to those things that pierce your heart and demand to be lingered upon, pondered, or later referenced.
