I want to introduce you to my friends, but not any, Ill introduce you to my special friends. Although life was not fair to them and are given the same chance as others, they are the same as all of us, they have the same emotions, needs, problems, interests. They have the same rights, freedoms and responsibilities to develop and achieve to their highest capabilities. Everything is the same. The only thing they need more, much more than the others is the love and support. People with special needs recognise the love and return it several times. They tell us their most sincere emotions illuminate the basic values of life and return to the path of the often misunderstood wanderings of happiness. Happiness is all around us, these people would be even happier that they are not marked as limited and restricted. A few times a week I hang out with my friends in the association for children with special needs Sunce. We talk, play, exercise, and participate in creative workshops on making true works of art. These are my special friends, sunny people as we call them, not only because of the name of their association, but because of the energy that illuminates their life.
