I want to invite everyone to join me at the Citizen Diplomacy luncheon, Tuesday, October 22 at the Regions Center at 11 am. Many of you have expressed interest in the foreign leaders I entertain in my home from time to time. The International Services Council of Alabama is the organization that brings these emerging leaders to Alabama. There will be a group from Kazakhstan at the luncheon. It is your opportunity to find out how you can get involved: to bring foreign business people to your company, your venue, to your home. We do programming for the visitors through our affiliation with the U.S. Department of State. It is a lot of fun. It is open to the public, please join us to find out more about how this program can benefit you, too. I am a board member (my great uncle founded the organization) and I can answer your questions, too. And, we have a great speaker, a cultural anthropologist who specializes in Jewish studies.
