I want to let u know that Simply hating Sin will not save u from Sin,hear what God has to say about it,quickly turn ur bible to Romans 7v15-24 Nd how r u supposed to help urself? It is true that u cant really help urself bt another simple fact is God cant really do a thing unless u r all ready for that huge change.... :|My dear u must have to make a choice nd stand by it no matter what to behold the glory of God..... And there are actually things u can do to help ursef if truly u want that big change...:| To illustrate these,lemme quickly tell u this story :|..... A beautiful statue once stood in the market place of an Italian city. it was the statue of a Greek slave girl which represented the slave as tidy and well dressed. A ragged uncombed little street child,coming across the statue in her play one day stopped and gazed @ it in admiration,she was captivated by it,she Gazed long and lovingly,moved by a sudden impulse she went home and washed her face nd combed her hair. Another day she stopped again before the statue and admired it,she got new idea,next day she got her tattered cloth washed and mended. Each times she looked @ the statue she found something in its Beauties to admire and copy until she was a completely transformed child. The Statue is the representation of love of God in Christ Jesus i.e the salvation we have by accepting Christ as our Lord and savior... It is believed that we r saved and we love Him, and so we desire to work in his love( righteousness) And the only means by which we can do that is to learn directly from Him,nd reflect His teachings on our lives each day.... If u love God, u will strive to please him @ all cost John14v15,23, John15v9-10,though it might not be a Fun task bt His has promised to help us going with the help from Holy spirit ......philippians2:13, John14v16-17 Dear, the very first u r gonna have to do if u truly love God nd desire to be transformed is to deeply desire to forsake sin and do away with ANYTHING that would lead u into sin...choose ur friends carefully,surround yourself with like minds,fellowship with other children of God As it was said in the book of 2corinthians 6v14-18. Then the holiness of God in Christ will be reflected on U just asin Col1:26-27,A father to son relationship with God as stated inRomans8v14 ,2corinthians6v17-18. Then the lies of devil will not have power over our lives bcus we already have power over Sin. God bless You
