I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported Davids Legacy: running, walking, volunteering and giving!!! We are truly grateful for all of the wonderful support and LOVE we feel from all our family, friends and community! You are all special people who have helped others who are serving, suffering and in need of a little extra support in their journey on this earth! That is making this WORLD A BETTER PLACE!!!! We also want to say how sorry we are to those who may have been stung on Davids Run! I really hope no one had too bad a reaction to the stings! They were hornets that we had no idea were present. I think it was the pounding on the ground of our runners that made the nest feel threatened. ( I personally got a sting myself that was quite painful! ) I am trying to think of it as a obstacle on Davids course! I know that he faced much worse in his training! Thank you for not giving up and I am hoping that you will all come out again! We will try to assess the area a little better next year! Again sorry! JUST FEEL SOME PRIDE THAT YOU SURVIVED THAT HORNETS AND HONORED DAVIDS AMAZING LIFE!!! Sending you all love! Davids Family
