I want to share a personal experience about the power of prayer. Last evening around 6 pm, a child from the colony rang the bell to tell me that a pigeon had got stuck in the kites manjha high up near the trees in the park. I rushed down to find that at the height of the third floor a pigeon was fluttering helplessly with one of its wings half cut. We struggled to cut the manjha somehow by throwing up stones etc but nothing worked and we had to abandon the rescue because it got dark. The pigeon eventually dragged itself to a tall tree and I was scared a cat would get it at night. At daybreak it was found alive and hanging from the manjha. Finally by throwing up a cable wire the manjha was cut, the pigeon fell to the ground and was taken to the bird hospital. Needless to add I had felt so helpless last evening that I had prayed desperately to my Shirdi Baba. Thank you Baba.
