I want to share a story on how this pay it forward stuff works... So here is it.. Last night, I rolled up to a checkstop on my way home for some holiday/birthday festivities. As I sat on the side of the road in my truck trying desperately to produce proof of my insurance and registration, I realize my registration had expired and I was unable to produce my pink card validating my insurance (even tho its being paid every month)... The police officer decided that instead of making me sift through emails and expired pink slips to produce valid I sirs nice, he would let me go on the benefit of the doubt... Basically saving me from having my truck towed and/or $3000 in fines. Sooooo... Today u was driving along, I got smashed into by a couple of teenage kids driving a honda civic... The only damage my vehicle obtained was a damaged tire and scratches rim. Unfortunately, the plastic Honda Civic was most likely a write off and it was his girlfriends car. I decided that since the cop had cut me some slack, I would tell those teens not to worry about my rim and tire and that I would pay to have it fixed as his day was going to be a lot worse than mine. Well, I end up at the tire shop explaining the story in hopes of replacing or repairing my tire... The guy at Kal Tire in Peace River says dont worry about the new tire.. You let those kids go, you can have the new tire on us. So thank you officer for letting me slide with an honest mistake cause the ball kept rolling with generosity from you simple act of kindness.
