I want to share something with you that I found a few minutes ago. Something that makes my blood boil and my whole body angry. According to the urban dictionary, this is the definition of a teenage girl: The Teenage Girl is possibly the absolute stupidest, most materialistic, and shallow kind of human there is, and by definition the easiest to make money off of. Teenage Girls tend to travel in herds of 5 or 6 as they have nothing resembling independent thought or character and are totally subservient to the alpha who decides who they can sleep with or date, what they eat, where they go, what they wear, and what they do (see Mean Girls). The Average Teenage Girl is of very low intelligence. She talks in a very high pitched voice interjected any conversation with copious likes and ums And they wonder why girls have low confidence. This makes me so angry that Im locking myself in my room while writing this, because otherwise I might scream at something. As a teenage girl, I can strongly disagree to EVERY WORD stated above. Teenage girls are strong, theyre independent. They make some of the hardest decisions in their life. They fight for what they believe in, and fight against what they dont. They deal with imperfections and come across as completely satisfied with themselves. They are bullied, looked down upon. Theyre expected to be warriors, but expected to stay sweet and short about it. Theyre told that they cant do that because theyre a girl. They think that ...like a girl is an insult. So world. Yes, I throw a ball like a girl. Yes I ride a bike like a girl. Yes I ace a test like a girl. Yes I love myself like a girl. And guess what? I wouldnt ask for anything else. Being a girl makes me who I am, and Im proud of it. You should be too. Because being a girl is a blessing; one I wouldnt trade for the world.
