I want to start off by saying that having learned cursive in the fourth grade with one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Flores, changed my life. I would not have written as many poems, screenplays, short stories or used my creative brain as much without putting the pen to paper. I am mortified that 45 states in the nation have decided to do away with handwriting class. Am I crazy or in another 40 years people will barely be able to print with a pen. I think we have gone too far to rely so heavily on technology. Why dont we just get rid of speaking all together? What will happen when the machines take over? Where is John Connor?
