I want to take a moment of your time. Please oblige me. Make no mistake. The shutdown of the United States Federal Government is the result of both major parties desiring this. They want it for different reasons. But why is not what is important, what is important here is the mere fact that they want it. It is an appropriate juncture in the grander scope of history for the people of the United States of America to remember that these people - all of the politicians in the US Senate and House of Representatives - choose to forsake their duty to provide for the people of the United States of America and choose the path of political bickering. I do not believe in pointing the blame at any one party, for they are all involved in this and to do so would not be in the best interests of seeking compromise. They were all involved in this occurring and they must all admit their guilt in this crime. What is that crime? The crime of forsaking the Constitution of the United States. And most importantly, I ask of all parties involved to sit down and read the first few words in that document. And I hope that they read, "We the people of the United States..." and not "We the political parties of the United States..." If you see as I see and if you feel as I feel, then I ask you to vote your incumbents out of office. Thank you for your time. If you believe in civic virtue and duty, please spread this message.
