I want to take the opportunity to brag about two amazing young gentlemen, Ashwood and Ashton Bethel. Coordinating the NHRA security event for my squadron was tough this year. Trying to fill slots was like pulling teeth. Its hard to sell a 12-hour shift, standing in the sun, checking tickets of people who may or may not be rude and intoxicated...you get the picture. One of them jumped at the opportunity before the words came out of my mouth, and the other jumped at the chance with less than 24 hours of notice. I had someone drop out of a 12 hour shift a day before showing up. They did an excellent job today! No complaining, worked non-stop, and were complete professionals! Franklyn Ashley Bethel, Samantha Albury-Bethel, and Ashlyn Tracy, you should all be VERY proud of these two!!!
