I want to tell everyone about my experience over the past week as I think you need to know, especially those who are a Nanny looking for work or families looking for a nanny or even a nanny agency trying to source and place staff. I was involved in a scam last thursday/friday where I was contacted by a mother (or so she said) of triplet Girls, see the images below. I was offered a job paying $24+/hour with the amazing opportunity to travel with the family. The so called mother stated that she was a back up dancer for numerous famous artists including PINK, Jay Z, Beyonce, and Jessie J. Her husband is apparently a very high up lawyer in Brisbane. So I was going to be required to care for the children as mum performed in a range of locations around the world and travel with them all expenses paid. I was also offered the opportunity to live in temporarily while we got settled in Brisbane. I accepted the position on Friday morning and just before work on Friday I received a Text saying: Hi Rachel, unfortunately I no longer require a Nanny. My husband has decided to run off with our old nanny. sorry My bank accounts have been accessed along with positions in Brisbane have been applied for under my name which I have not applied for. I am aware of at least one other person that has been contacted for this and we have both working with both the local Wagga police and Brisbane police to get this sorted ASAP.
