I want to thank everyone for your kind words and for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers yesterday. It was hard, celebrating my 42nd wedding anniversary without Geralds physical form being here to rejoice with me. But God helped me get through it and I thank Him for caring family, friends and readers who gave so much support. Ive been told the first year is the hardest and thats proven to be true. But I believe God will continue to strengthen me to endure not only the first year but the remaining years. And what some of you said is so true. I was blessed to experience true love that some have never experienced. It is my wish that everyone get to share such a love. Thats one of the reasons I enjoy writing my love stories. I can feel the love - true love - between my characters and for me it is real. And I want to ask a favor of everyone. Please tell your mate often - every day - that you love him or her. And show it. Cherish the time the two of you have together because one day the memories is what will sustain you. I recall asking Gerald one day if he knew how much I loved him, and his response with a smile was..Yes, because you tell me everyday. I blinked when he said it because it made me realize that yes, I did tell him everyday. It had become the norm and I never thought about doing it until he pointed it out to me.
