I want to thank the ESC family and new ESC friends for this past weekend. MCM was absolutely the hardest and most painful race I have run thus far. It was physically painful and add mental and emotional stress to that. I would not give up. I couldnt after seeing all those men and women in uniform as well as our wounded warriors. I also couldnt let down Joe. He stuck it out for 7+ hours WALKING next to me behind me always looking back to make sure I was still safe. I moved my ass as fast as I could to get to that damn bridge then across it. I was not going to let Joe lose his finishers medal bc of me. Cory thank you for use of your hotel shower!!! Doctor appt tonight to check all my bloodwork and discuss the pains I am having while I run. I LOVE yiu guys! Thank yiu for a fun weekend! Next year 10k! ;)
