I want to wish all Chicagoans a merry Christmas I want to take this opportunity to apologize for four years of disrespect to all I know I didnt raise homeowners taxes but I got you in more innovative ways: speed trap cameras, raised fees on water/sewers , telephone, city stickers, approved park district increase, and other ways. To parents and the children, yes the children got some of my wrath also, and teachers, teacher aides, lunchroom workers, and custodians, I apologize for the 7 SEVEN DAY STRIKE that caused many of you problems. To the police and firemen, I apologize for three frustrating years of no contract because I wanted to show you whos the boss. To city workers, I apologize for switching your life savings to a risky investment fund but hey, if it works out youll have your pension er at least part of it And if it doesnt Im sure youll understand that it was a risky chance but we tried. Its better than the slow gradual traditional safe bonds that dont allow us to invest in the market, hey I have friends who would do you real good. And your health benefits and cola increases were not constitutional in the first place. Ill prove it to you when I finish with you. Besides, those law professors dont know what they are talking about when they say, its UNCONSTUTUTIONAL IM THE BOSS AND I DECIDE WHAT IS CONSTITUTIONAL. To the tax payer, I want to apologize for taxing you when I could have guess transferred funds from the TIF purse. TIF is a fund that comes from your tax dollars and is out into a pot for needy neighborhoods or for a rainy day. Well I use the TIF TO HELP BUILD HOTELS, new high school in the coast for the rich people who donate to my campaign. Youll understand I have take care of them. I also use TIF TO create new charter schools. Of course I take the money from your neighborhood schools but my friends need charter schools to stay in business. Hey do you know that the reporters said that the Chicago Board of Education has lied to you about our charter school scores. Im working in that now. Im building a new Chicago but it will take from the $1.7 Billion TIF fund that he paid into. I tried to convince Depaul University to accept $55 million of your tax dollars to build a stadium in Chicago but those Jesus lovers said no. Depaul said take that money and use it for the community. I did! I gave the $55 million to Mariot hotels to build another hotels in Chicago! Yes a new Chicago is on the way, you just watch, watch from your tv because you wont have money to enjoy it. But be proud that it was your tax dollars that made it all possible! HUH? There are candidates that say TIF funds should be used for neighborhood schools, neighborhood parks, neighborhood agencies, neighborhood sports programs. They also say that the TIF is more than enough to also pay for pension shortfalls. Well, with continued taxation on everyone, itll all work out just vote me in again.
