I wanted to give everyone an update on my mom. In case you did not know, she fell at her house on Friday night and had to be taken to the ER. She is still in the hospital with 18 stitches from just above her right eye to the edge of her scalp. The have completed all of the tests and determined that it was probably a blood pressure drop from when she stood up that caused her to pass out, hitting her head when she fell. They are putting her on some new medicine for her blood pressure to see if that helps. We are hoping she gets released on Thursday. She is a sight to see! She went one round with Mike Tyson and lost horribly! We are just so thankful it was not worse. I want to thank all of the employees of Rowan Regional Hospital. They have all treated my mom like she was their mom. And thank you to everyone who has wished her well and sent prayers for her. They mean tons. If you have a chance tomorrow, go see her. She loves the attention! She is in room 443. If you cannot go see her, give her a call. She is her same old crazy self. Again, thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers for my mom and our family!
