I wanted to share how I began writing this series, and where I see it going. The Gray Pack started as a recurring dream about two firefighters who met the woman of their dreams after rescuing her from a burning building. After a couple of nights, I realized that there was more to their love story, and I began jotting down notes. It took about two months worth of dreaming and note taking before I was brave enough to crack open a word doc on my laptop and start the story, but over the next three weeks The Gray Pack was born. As I wrote the final scenes of Fire of the Wolf, I knew that Tina and Liam had a story to tell and I began Reflections of the Wolf immediately. It seems like the moment one character finishes their romance, another is anxiously waiting their turn to start sharing theirs. One of the questions I get asked repeatedly is why the second book (Reflections of the Wolf) wasn’t a ménage. The truth is that Liam and Tina are very selfish in nature when it comes to love. Neither character could have handled a ménage relationship. Just like in the real world not every person can make a polyamorous grouping work, and I am always true to the characters nature. Most of the books out so far are ménage, but a couple of the characters you’ve already met aren’t going to be finding their happily ever after with multiple partners. I have several more books planned at the moment, and no plans of stopping the series any time soon. I’m working on Book 6 which is unnamed as of this moment, and I will be touching base with the first four families in that book so that you can see how their lives are developing.
