I wanted to share one of our lower cost, bigger bang for your buck treats you can pick up for your pups. (Only $5.50 at fortailsonly/fluffnfur) One of our Handlers posted these pictures for us yesterday (and granted permission to share!) to show comparisons of what the treats look like after you puff them. These treats are meant to be microwaved, which puffs them to five times their original size, giving you a much larger treat than what comes in the package. They are not meant to be served as is - you need to puff them first! (They can also be boiled - but either way, they are still a crunchier, harder chew - so dont think boiling will make them softer.) Heres what our site says: Himalayan Dog Chew comes from an ancient recipe of the people of the Himalayas. In the mountains surrounding Mount Everest, it is made using traditional methods with Yak and Cow milk, and all natural products. Now, the Himalayan Dog Chew is offered in bite-sized Yaky Nuggets that are meant to be microwaved before feeding, puffing them to about five times the original size for a unique dog treat. These Yaky Nuggets maintain the same cheesy flavor that dogs love and is 100 percent all natural with no chemicals or preservatives. ***Please do not feed the Yaky Nugget as is, this dog treat must be microwaved to puff before feeding. The directions are simple, place 1 Yaky Nugget in the center of the microwave. On high power, microwave for thirty seven seconds, if the entire nugget is not puffed, microwave for another fifteen seconds. Cool down the Yaky Nugget for at least two minutes before feeding
