I wanted to share this because of my situation. It has been almost a year since that person walked out of my life, by his choice, thinking the grass was greener on the other side. I am happy that God allowed me to see who this person truly was and I realize that I did not wait on Gods direction from the beginning when I started my life with him as husband and wife. But I refuse to hang my head in shame when I do not feel I am to blame for his destructive outburst and damage to our personal property but mainly damage to my heart. I refuse to feel sorry for an individual who abandoned me and left me when I needed them most. Who emptied our bank account and emptied our home and left me void, venerable, and alone to fen for myself for food and shelter for me and my children for weeks. If he, as my husband, would walk out on me then... Why would I ever...ever...think he would never do it again. I pray that his life and who he truly is will come to light to all he has fooled and to those who he has made feel sorry for him. For once maybe someone can say... You know Laura you were right about him! I forgive him but I have moved on. Be careful in well doing, is all Im trying to say.... (But if the husband or wife who isn’t a believer insists on leaving, let them go. In such cases the Christian husband or wife is no longer bound to the other, for God has called you to live in peace.) 1 Corinthians 7:15
