I wanted to share this treasure with you all. I took a walk down memory lane today to help myself refocus. To remind myself where our love story began, and all of the amazing miracles and abundant blessings we have experienced along the way. This video was taken only two weeks after Lily arrived home from China. She was already speaking in English sentences, and loved folding her clothes into neat little piles. Keep in mind she is only 2 1/2 here! The little girl who was labeled terminal in China, but was more full of life than any person young or old that I had ever met. Over the past couple of days we have seen more and more glimpses of Lily shine through. I pray that this is evidence that her brain is creating new synapses and repairing from the trauma she experienced. Lily did have another seizure episode on Friday evening. Her Keppra has been increased, and thanks to several of you, she has been started on Vitamin B to hopefully help with some of the unpleasant side effects of this drug. Last night for the first time Lily began revolting against taking her liquid medicines. Lily takes over a dozen medications several times a day, and most of them are available in pill form. However, several of her most important medications are liquid. Last night she decided to spit them out quite dramatically, and then made a statement that she HATES them and wants them in a pill. Today we ordered gelatin capsules, and will attempt to put her Cyclosporine in them since this medication is needed to keep her body from rejecting her hero heart. Today I am thankful that there is victory in Christ even when I am discouraged and have very little strength. Dont be afraid, for I am with you. Dont be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand! Isaiah 41:10
