I wanted to share with you a little bit of insight of Proverbs 31. I wrote this for someone today. Every woman in her own unique way is a proverbs 31 woman. I adapted it to fit every letter in her name. D diligent She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. O obedient She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life N nurturing She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. E Exceptional Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. L Lawful She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. L leader Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. E Escellent Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Oftentimes we want to become model men and women but in this 21st century, we have allowed ourselves to be caught in the senseless ideas of today. I.e feminism, equality and such. The bottom line is that everyone is unique and men and women CANNOT be judged the same way. However men are not better than women nor vice versa. What we do in the Bible is learn esteem others above themselves. That is Bible and far better than the status quo of equality. Men have been placed by God be the leaders of the home and it is our responsibility to protect,provide, and lead families to salvation and blessing. God blessed us men with a beautiful help-meet and partners in this life. If you carefully read, Proverbs 31. It is the only chapter that is inspired by a WOMAN. King Lemuel, writes a prophecy, handed down by his mother and part of it is in her own person. Listen to her, if you will not listen to me about the example of what a woman should be. In the end, Lemuel, her son, praises her for who she is. I hope you will continue to work and strive to be a model proverbs 31 woman. We men will life up holy hands and continue to pray!
