I wanted to take a moment this morning and thank each and every person that has made my first year as a PDGA Tournament Director one of the best years ever! I really want to thank Tricia Lafferty and Jamie Rider for helping me run a great event! I also would like to thank Dan Weber and Deby Murphy for kicking ass yesterday to keep everything organized as I tried to play the event. Running tournaments is NOT an easy task.. but you all made it so incredible! I feel we have had 2 successful tournaments.. The Keystone Classic maxed out at 73 Players and the SVDGOpen was well over 50+. Both ground breaking in my eyes! To be able to see My Friends throwing on my home course.. What an experience. I would like to thank the members of the Pittsburgh Flying Disc Society that have helped me out with their experience and expertise of running a successful event! Lori Merriman, Chris Deitzel, J Gary Dropcho, Jeremiah Libby, you guys have all helped out in more ways then you know! I would also like to thank Chas Ford for inviting me to host a PA State Park Points Series event that made my tournament directing experience one of the best to remember! Thanks for believing in me sir! A huge thanks to Devon Reynolds for bringing out Keystone Disc Golf to help out with an amazing Payout Spread for the AMs! This guy drives 6 hours round trip just to bring you the best selection of plastic! Thanks Man!! I also want to thank the NWPA Disc Golf Alliance Members that have helped out to make Pym a great course to play! Robert J Weber, Luke Weber, Erik Holmberg, Brian Perry, Alex Covey, Noel Covey, Ken Benhamo.. Without you guys coming out on Saturdays for league.. I am not sure if I would have went through with these events.. You guys keep the heart pumpin!! thank you for all your hard work and continued belief in our club!! Disc Golf has really changed my life for the better and with all of you it has only changed it even more! Thank you ALL for an amazing 2014 Season and I look forward to hosting more events for you all in 2015! I dont think words can explain how I feel about this sport and just how awesome it feels to see you all come out and support an event at Pymatuning Disc Golf Course.
