I was 14 years old on March 27, 1964. I am posting 4 pictures from then. The first is of the Denali movie theatre. There were only 2 movie theaters in Anchorage at that time. The Denali and the 4th Avenue Theatre. All the kids spent many hours in the Denali. When we saw the marquee at the sidewalk level, we just couldnt believe it. The second is another in the Turnagain area. The last two were the before and after tower at the Anchorage International airport. Those 240 seconds felt like it was never going to stop. My very best to all of you that survived that day.....Thank you for sharing your stories....These stories connects us all........
