I was 15 years old, and thought that nothing out there mattered to me. Those that remember me from back then, would most likely tell you that I was a punk, one of those kids that would most likely end up in prison by the age of 20. But I was about to be hit with something that I never expected, something that would change my life forever. My world was turned upside down that day, and those events will forever be edged into my mind. As I sat in my chair, holding back tears, I realized very fast, just how much things do affect me, and how much I really did care. 9/11 will forever be a memory in my mind, because it was a turning point in my life. Although it took years for it to set in and really take affect on me, I know that it was those events alone that led me to make certain choices in my life. I am the man I am today, because of 9/11. Those that died that day will never be forgotten in my household, and I will ensure your memory goes on with my children. Where were you?
