I was 5 years old when the Thriller video was released. My mom didnt want me to see it because she feared it would be too frightening. My dad insisted that I see it because he knew it would be a historical music event and felt I should be a part of that. We watched the entire Mtv documentary of Michael Jackson making the video and the full-length mini film version. Im thankful for my moms concern, but pleased my dad won that battle. It was a life event that Im grateful I didnt miss.
