I was a student athletic trainer. I remember moving into Belk in early August for pre-season football. You couldnt have enough fans to cool your room--no A.C. in those days. I have fond memories of watching some crazy laundry techniques too. Ive always wondered how the Shoney Boy wound up at the bus stop in front of Scott Dorm. If the power went out, not to worry, the football Grad Assistants came over and woke up the whole dorm--bats banging on suite doors & railings. Oh, the pipes in the ceiling made a great place to hang your bike, too! -Donna King
