I was afriad Id jinx myself or James Greeson! I know come spring I plan on visiting local restraints to inform them of this group. Id love to see their small business or National backed business be on here to get a feel for what is working at other places and whats not. This can be a very invaluable resource. I have to say, I love the daily special that are posted. Most seem to be in martinsville. I will target Mooresville, Waverly, Monrovia all these small communities that are pretty much family owned. Paragon also. Ok, anyone can go to the top of this group page, under Files, to create a list of as many restaraunts within Morgan County. From there I will create a welcome/greeting ,messays for them explaining who we are and our purpose. I have so many fun ideas that I need to work on getting down in paper before approaching the businesses. If they sell food to eat there or to take home, put them on the list. Maybe something like a locality local reward program would be something theyd be interested in. Maybe just the free publication from this site is all they can afford. Its all good! Responsibilities include but not limited to the following...trying to stop an ugly thread from starting, making sure courtesy and respect is shown to all members, send pm to an offender who cannot play nice or who purposely try to start issues (sad but true). And monitoring group, when your able to do it. James has done a wonderful job and I cannot tell him enough how much I appreciate his help! There are no free food for good reviews for admins, we receive nothing outside of where to go to eat. Lol Another thing Id like to incorporate is Board of Health reports. I feel strong about that.
