I was almost half-way through my workout, finally on my bike when I heard CHIRP! flutter, flutter and more CHIRP CHIRP! way too close to be inside the bedroom upstairs but I went up to check on FuzzyButt and KuKachoo who were watching their movie and NOT making CHIRPs of any kind. Soooo I came back down and finally saw a little sparrow/wren in the living room trying to get out the front windows! After a lot of chasing, since he was in areas I couldnt reach, he kept changing course flying to the kitchen trying to get out the deck doors then back to the living room....I finally opened BOTH the front door and the deck door even though its COLD and snowing here. He apparently, without me seeing which door he used, finally found his way out....BUT I needed to be sure AND I needed to finish machines (workout) too. So, while I closed the front door I left the deck door partially open until I finished just in case he hadnt gotten out yet. I havent heard any more fluttering or those LOUD CHIRPs for about 1-1/2 hours now so Im sure hes back outside ............now I wonder how on earth he got inside in the first place? (and yes, it snowed inside here too...) Both Erik and I figure he came in while I was going out or back in this morning when I fed the birds and squirrels outside.
