I was around nine when I snagged the LOTR/Hobbit books from my parents book shelf and I was instantly hooked. The Hobbit was my favorite for a long time until it was eventually overtaken by Return of the King. I begged my parents to let me see FOTR when it came out in theatres.. but my dad was under the impression that the orcs would scare me, so I had to wait until the second film came out. How did you guys get your start in LOTR? Did you end up seeing the movies first, maybe JUST the movies? Or maybe you read the books and opted to see the movies later? ~Evenstar
