I was ask to share this once again, am happy to give creator his glory for what he has done in my life. Testimony of Our Heavenly Father, Creator, and the Holy Spirit working in His servant, Raven Nelson “And they overcame by the blood of the Lamb, and their testimony” (Revelation 12:ll). BY THE BLOOD of the Lamb I have been privileged to give a testimony that will help others overcome. Thank you Creator and Maker of us all! I am a Native American, full blood. I’ve always known while growing up, through my elders, and those that loved me, that there is a God; but I never really embraced Him as a Saviour who had anything to do in my life. I loved my grandfather and my mother; I knew what love was at that very young age. However, I was taken away from my mother when I was 3 years old, and put into what was called a “Christian Children’s home” by the powers that be. Even at that home it was not a privilege to be Native. At between ages three and nine, I was taken to a hospital eighteen times because of horrific physical and mental abuse at the hands of these people who called themselves ‘Christian’. Consequently, my view of Christianity turned dark and slanted. I didn’t trust anything or anyone carrying a Christian label. And so, because of that, I grew up hating, mistrusting, and wanting to take life. I have done a lot of things that the blood of the Lamb has covered. But thinking back of all the things that I have done that put Creator on that cross gives me shame. But He redeems! He GIVES – God our Father GIVES! He gave us His Son. His Son gave us His stripes for my healing, and His blood to atone for my sin. My testimony is about healing that has happened in my body, in spirit and soul, even at this present hour. He is taking care of my wounded and broken heart; and I am so thankful for a merciful God! On February 28th of 1996 I came to a death experience – and a realization in the emergency room. During that time I was privileged to find another Being standing beside me. I was floating up above my body, and watching them working on me in the emergency room. There were no shadows in that room; and I could see the people working. Standing to my right side was a tall Man – long flowing white hair, and what appeared to be fire in His eyes. He was in a white robe with a golden belt around His middle. Speaking to me in my Native tongue, He revealed to me that He loved me, and that He cared for me. He got on his knees, took me by the hand and asked me, “Won’t you give me a chance.” He revealed more to me and spoke words of love and grace. And because of that experience there in that room, I had come to a more personal realization of my creator’s love and His care for me. I went away looking and searching – wanting to find out more about this guy – to have a more personal relationship with Him. And so I went to people who had a street ministry; and a gentle giant named Lobo, who was ministering there. He prayed – prayed that I would come to the realization of who Creator is. And there was another brother we called ‘Brother Al,’ and he prayed too. (At that time, I was the leader of a gang and had not as yet resigned.) And because of their prayers, I began to know the Creator reading His word. My wife and I have been privileged to give our testimony. And that is, that God is alive and He is still working! And He’s still reaching down; His power is not diminished! And above all, to give you the good news that He is alive! (Isaiah 61:1-3; Acts 1:8) We have been blessed in these past years to work with couples, leadership and individuals. I had asked Creator at one point what I should convey to people when I speak. He gave me the address of “ACTS 22:14-15”; and so I looked it up: “And He said, “The God of our fathers hath chosen you, that thou should know His will, and see that Just One, and should hear the voice of His mouth. “For you shalt be His witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.’ ” What He reveals is ongoing… Raven Nelson
