I was asked a question today that I didnt really know how to answer. If you cant work then how do you play pool? So after some thought, here is my answer. I struggle. I make myself not give up the one activity I truly love to do. Am I suppose to give up on everything? Its not like Im lifting weight. Yeah I bend some but its not the same as picking something up from the ground. I also take medication to ease my pain. Playing pool isnt any different than doing things in everyday life like pulling your pants up after using the restroom. Which I struggle with. Just because someone is disabled doesnt mean they should be forced to stay in the house. Id go nuts. And anyone that I play pool with will tell you that I struggle.
