I was asked to join Tri-Beta, a biological honors society reserved for those who are not only honors students, but also for those with a deep passion for biology. I am a double major working towards my microbiology degree as well as my Nursing degree. This takes a ton of work and when you add type 1 diabetes in the mix things can get hairy. I am lucky to have the friends and family I have to support me and the great technology to keep me as healthy as possible while following my dreams and passions.
