I was asked to post on the Monday disturbance.... Heres a quick rundown...... Were going to see an area of low pressure move out of Texas move into the Midwest and then move over Pennsylvania and move off the Mid Atlantic Coast.... From here it will move just south of southern New England or maybe over southern Connecticut. The front will be dragging a cold front..... Sunday we will see clouds increase during the day as the storm approaches. It will be cold enough for a snow/mix , before warmer air moves in. This isnt going to be a blockbuster storm.... but it will be a widespread disturbance. Sunday overnight into Monday morning those in NYC, northern NJ , and Long Island will have to deal with snow/sleet/freezing rain. By 11:00 AM to noon. it should be all rain. Those along the Jersey Shore back into Delaware and Maryland and DC, there could a some mix Sunday overnight....but this should change to all rain Monday morning...but it could still be a slippery morning commune. Those with the best chance of seeing snow will be from Providence and points north, along the Rhode Island and Connecticut coast There could be a mix to start...but most likely it will be all rain. North of Providence things should start off as snow...then as the mid levels warm snow will change to a sleet/freezing rain mix...then all rain . Those on Cape Cod and Cape Ann, and the Massachusetts, southeast coast, and offshore Islands, a mix amounts look to be a D- maybe 2 inches, before the changeover to plain rain. which would be late morning or very early afternoon. Sunday night into Monday morning the storm will bring snowfall across Pennsylvania, and New York State. A general 2-4 inches of snow is likely. Places like Albany 1-2 inches....with locally higher amounts. Those in the higher elevations could see a 3-6 inches of snow. The snow would be moving into northern New England Monday into the early evening, again a general 2-4 inches, with perhaps a little more in higher elevations. Behind the storm arctic air will once again move into the region. We have another possible storm for the end of the week.
